Keke Palmer's boyfriend tweets 'body-shaming' comments about the actor

Keke Palmer's partner Darius Jackson, who is the father of the couple's child, has faced online criticism after he posted a series of “body-shaming” tweets calling out the 29-year-old actor for one of her outfit choices.

The controversy all started when video footage of Palmer being serenaded by Usher at a concert was shared online. The Nope actor wears a long-sleeved sheer dress with a black thong-style corset body underneath as she shares a microphone with Usher in the cute performance.

Jackson retweeted the footage, commenting “It's the outfit tho.. you a mom”, he said, referring of course to the fact Palmer is the mother of the pair's son, Leodis Andrellton, who was born in February this year.

He then shared following tweets in response to Palmer's fans calling him out on the original tweet. His tweets read: “We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn't want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is.” and “This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case”.

Jackson has since disabled and deleted his Twitter account, so the tweets are no longer available to view. However, some of the online backlash remains:

Keke Palmer, meanwhile, has been undeterred, sharing a carousel of images of herself wearing the outfit in question to her Instagram feed, together with the caption: “I wish I had taken more pictures but we were running late!”

Her fans have weighed in to defend her right to wear whatever she hell she likes in the comments below the post, writing, “YES MAAM!!!! You don’t criticize the mother of your children publicly.
