Bishop Eddie Long, the controversial megachurch leader who fell from grace after he was accused of sexually coercing four young male congregants, has died. He was 63. Long's death was confirmed in a statement by the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church and reported by multiple news outlets. According to the statement, Long died on Sunday, "after a gallant private fight with an aggressive form of cancer." He reportedly made his last public appearance just two weeks ago as seen in a photo on Twitter, a shiny bald head replacing what was once thick hair.

The hapless spies and their boorish leader are back. The third season of the Apple TV+ drama Slow Horses, based on Mick Herron's Slough House novels, debuts Nov. 29. Gary Oldman plays Jackson Lamb, the comically unpleasant leader of a gang of dejected British spies. He smokes and drinks on the job, needs a shower, eats junk and has flatulence issues, which he seems to use strategically. Lamb's band of spooks became Slow Horses, as they're called, after messing up their careers in a variety of mishaps, including botching a surveillance operation and leaving a top secret file on a train.

It's Matthew Lewis, aka Hogwarts super nerd Neville Longbottom! We've all watched the cast grow up before our eyes, becoming dashing young men and elegant ladies, but Lewis was standing out at the New York premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. Rocking a sleek suit, some sexy stubble and much hipper haircut than his big-screen counterpart, Lewis wowed the crowd and his newfound hotness did not go unnoticed on Twitter.

A Spanish man flashed a smile and held up a Bible verse inked on his hand as he was sentenced to death in Thailand after being found guilty of murdering a fellow Spaniard. Artur Segarra Princep was charged with the premediated murder of 40-year old David Bernat.  Parts of his dismembered body were retrieved from Bangkok's Chao Phraya River in February last year, while traces of the victim's bloodstains and DNA were found in Segarra's Bangkok apartment.

At times Carrot Top’s life seems like some sort of Faustian deal with the devil gone wrong (not that most deals with the devil go right).
